Research enquiries go through the spanDNA intake form, which asks what you are looking for and what you already have. There is no booking link here on purpose — scope and any applicable fee are confirmed in writing first, and a conversation is scheduled after that.

Human Temple Therapeutics is the practice side of this work. The name reflects a simple conviction: each person is already whole, already capable, already worthy of care. People who reach out here are not starting from zero — reaching out is itself an act of clarity and courage.

Referrals are made for clinical, legal, and crisis needs. Adwoa is accumulating supervised hours toward clinical licensure, and the practice is developing as a training site for the next generation of social workers. New offerings are added when they are ready, not before.

Ancestral discovery can surface joy, grief, and everything in between. Ancestral accompaniment is company for the journey — for reflection, for processing, for pacing — when you would rather not carry what you find alone.
This is accompaniment and education. It is not therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or clinical care. It is offered through Human Temple Therapeutics LLC, and where clinical support is what is needed, a referral is made.
Tell me what you are working through and what has already surfaced in your research. I read each one myself, and I will be honest with you about whether accompaniment is the right fit or whether another kind of support would serve you better.

Adwoa’s story runs through Ghana, Canada, and the American South. Raised in a multilingual home — Fante at the hearth, English and French at school — she grew up moving between cultures, and made a career of helping others do the same.
She has spent more than twenty years in education: teaching French in an international boarding school in British Columbia, in Title I classrooms in Alabama, and in the large, diverse schools of Fairfax County, Virginia including AP instruction, and later in nonprofit distance education and community programming across several countries and languages. Her Georgia teaching certification has never lapsed.
She earned her M.S.W. from Indiana University’s School of Social Work in 2019, specializing in centering families of African descent, with clinical training in adolescent and family care at a major children’s hospital. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Georgia and Alabama, working toward clinical licensure, and a member of NASW, whose Code of Ethics governs her practice.
Today she lives in DeKalb County, Georgia, where her three children attend a dual-language immersion public school and she serves as a parent volunteer officer. Her work — genealogical, educational, and relational — proceeds from a single conviction: that people grow best when someone walks beside them.
